The Insurance Law and its Sub-Decree requires the following motor vehicles to hold a Third Party Liability insurance as a minimum standard:

All types of motor vehicles used for commercial purpose, transporting goods, passengers and tourists within the Kingdom of Cambodia.

All types of motor vehicles belong to companies, enterprises and factories.

All types of motor vehicles of Non-Governmental Organizations, international organizations and associations.

Cement mixers moved from one place to another by its direct machine or by dragging.

Tricycles used for commercial purpose, transporting goods or passengers.

Basic
Third Party Liability cover protects you should you cause bodily injury to others or damage their car or other property while driving. You are also entitled up to $1,500 for the cost of legal fees.
Comprehensive
A Comprehensive policy is tailored to give you maximum protection if your vehicle suffers accidental loss or damage, as well as protecting you against claims from others. The extensive nature of a full Comprehensive policy can insure against passenger liability, theft, fire, strike, riot, civil commotion and even flood damage.
No Claims Discount
Every year you drive without making a claim, you also build up a 10% discount which is taken off the premium of your motor policy the next year. Safe drivers with no claims made during a continuous period of coverage, can build their No Claims Discount as high as 30%.
Loyalty Discount
